New York City is the home to some of the most amazing brunches. There’s just something special about a midday date with long chats over delicious brunch items.
My cousin Sharon is one of my all time favorite dates for brunch (actually for anything, anywhere). Always appreciate when someone’s hangry af, but they’re patient as you snap your pics, rearrange the plates and salt and pepper shakers, and snap some more. And someone who walks miles and miles with you so you can get a quick pic of a cute storefront?! That’s true love.
This exceptional croque madame can be found at Lafayette, a well-known brunch spot in NOHO. Honestly, the area is a little too busy for me, as I enjoy the quieter sidewalks and streets of Brooklyn. But that doesn’t stop me from trying new things and ticking off the best spots on my list!
